How soon can I get a kitten on the waitlist?
We have kittens all throughout the year. Our waitlist can be a few months to a year from the date you place a waitlist deposit. If you are positioned 1-15, you can expect to get a kitten within the first half of the year. If you are positioned 16-30, you can expect to get a kitten during the last half of the year. Our waitlist moves fast because people may choose to pass on a litter, so you may move up on the list at any given time.
Do your kittens have a health guarantee?
Yes - a 2 year health guarantee.
If I get 2 kittens from the same litter, is there a discount?
We do not .discount kittens.
What if I reserved a kitten and are now unable to move forward with adopting?
In the event that you have placed a reservation deposit on a kitten, and you suddenly are not able to move forward, all monies paid will be transferred to a future kitten. We do not offer refunds at this stage of the adoption process unless a unique circumstance prevents you from getting a kitten in the future. This will be up to our discretion for refunds due to complications for finding a new home for the kitten due to a failed pickup.
Can I wait for a specific color and/or gender?
We allow you to pass on a litter up to 3 times, but must be decided prior to visiting. We need our clients to be decisive and we don’t want to delay the adoption process.
Are your kittens microchipped?
No, we do not microchip our kittens.
Can I request kittens from a specific Queen?
Yes, you can. We would just change your position on the waitlist to be more in line with the timing of that specific Queen’s next litter.
Do you allow breeding rights?
At this time, we do not offer breeding rights. We require all of our kittens to be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age.
What are the personality differences between male and female cats?
Every kitten has its own unique personality and it can be hard to know what their personalities will be like until they are about 2 years old. All kittens go through the same stage of being hyper and playful. Sometimes male kittens will be more cuddly during the kitten stage, but females will be just as cuddly once they grow out of the kitten stage. At the end of the day, all cats love to play and cuddle- some sooner than others. The cat will adapt their personalities from their loving owners.
Can I test my allergies before getting on your waitlist?
Since the Fel D 1 protein can vary per cat and sometimes change with age, we don't offer cattery visits to only test allergies. Instead, if you have allergic reactions after the 5 week visit, we will issue a refund on your waitlist deposit.
